Picking up where Wired left off, Business Week's Paul Boutin expands the media's understanding of crowdsourcing. Boutin establishes the link between crowdsourcing and involving the customer. A concept famously studied and brought to popularity by the Cluetrain Manifesto a book by Chris Locke, Doc Searls and David Weinberger that advocates starting conversations with customers as a means of understanding how markets function.
